GCSE Easter Programme

The programmes below are prepared for the GCSE exam. The course takes place during Easter holidays. If you are interested, please submit the registration form by 22nd March. The places are limited so it is on first come, first served basis!
English :
Day 1: Critically reading non-fiction extracts (English Language)
Day 2 : Critically reading fiction extracts (English Language)
Day 3 : Creative writing (English Language)
Day 4 : Tackling unseen poetry (English Literature)
Students will be placed in groups with other GCSE students led by an experienced English tutor. Your child is welcome to join us regardless of their current / predicted grades and exam board.
Our GCSE course tutor, Jay, has experience working across all exam boards, including International GCSEs, and with a variety of set texts, including Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, An Inspector Calls, Blood Brothers, DNA, A Christmas Carol, a range of poetry anthologies and more.
Maths
Day 1 : Numbers + Algebra + Exam paper 1 (Non-Cal)
Day 2 : Ratio & Proportion + Exam paper 2 (Cal)
Day 3 : Geometry + Exam paper 3 (Cal)
Day 4 : Probability + Statistics
The course is aiming for students working towards a Grade 7 or above at GCSE. And work solutions are also included. Our GCSE Maths course material consists of four workbooks with a range of questions from key crossover topics from AQA and Edexcel that appear in both the GCSE Foundation and Higher tier papers.
- Practising each workbook with two sections ; INTRODUCE (fluency questions on each topic to practise the key concepts.) , DEEPEN (Mixed topic questions that are more challenging reasoning and problem solving questions.)
- GCSE Maths exam questions on each day practising exam style questions and writing model answers.
